The Council has reviewed the Marlborough Regional Policy Statement, the Marlborough Sounds Resource Management Plan and the Wairau/Awatere Resource Management Plan to create a single resource management document for the district — the Proposed Marlborough Environment Plan (MEP).
As a result of the submission process, over 1,300 submissions were received. Those who submitted, and wished to be heard, have been provided with an opportunity to present their submission to the Hearing Panel.
The Panel have adjourned the hearing portion of the process and have started deliberations.
