The Marlborough District Council is keen to hear about environmental changes that you have noticed in the Sounds or coastal Marlborough over the years. This sort of local ecological knowledge is proving to be important for understanding how ecosystems have changed, and add to our ability to interpret long-term scientific information. Your local knowledge could add to our scientific research in the area and may be used in Council publications and online.
Council may want to use your story and photographs in its publications, such as scientific reports, within coastal stories on our website, or in books on different parts of the coastal marine area.
