Also catering to Marlborough's sporting needs, the park is the main venue for Marlborough Football Association games, dog obedience, slot car racing and the Farmers' Market on Sunday mornings (seasonally).

Dogs permitted in obedience club area only. No dogs permitted on sportsfields.
